Biography
Catriona has a wide-ranging civil law practice with particular interest in property, commercial, local government and planning.
Catriona has extensive experience in property law and has been instructed in a variety of cases, from boundary to contractual disputes. In addition, she has experience in local government, partnership and agency, company law, unjustified enrichment, planning, professional negligence, contract (including building contract), and commercial property.
Prior to becoming an advocate Catriona worked for several years as a solicitor both in private practice and in the public sector. In the private sector she worked in commercial property, including a period of secondment to the London office of a Scottish firm. In the public sector Catriona dealt especially with property, roads and planning matters (including appearing at public inquiries).
Catriona is also a tutor in public law at the University of Edinburgh School of Law
