Biography

Denis is a highly experienced and commercially focused advocate. He has developed a busy and interesting practice at the Scottish Bar, focusing on real estate disputes, commercial leasing, planning, and contract law. He is a member of the UK Property Bar Association.

Denis is co-author of the student/practitioner book, ‘Dilapidations and Service Charge' (E.U.P., 2019), and is a contributing author of student textbook ‘Commercial Law in Scotland' (6th Edition, 2020). He is also a course co-ordinator at Edinburgh University on 'Commercial Leasing', an honours-level degree course on commercial real estate leasing.
