Terra Firma Chambers is hosting a half-day conference specifically focusing on issues which regularly concern local authorities. The conference will feature a series of talks covering a range of topics of interest to local authorities, including Administrative Law,  Employment Law, Planning and Environmental Law, Licensing Law and Valuation and Rating.  The conference will be chaired by Roy Martin QC and we believe that it will be the first of its kind offered by Chambers in Scotland.

The conference will be held on Monday 24th May 2010 at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, Edinburgh and will be followed by a Champagne reception.  The conference has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing three hours CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession.  There is no charge for attendance and delegates are invited to join us either for the full duration or just for part of the conference and subsequent reception.
