Philip Simpson of Terra Firma Chambers is one of the contributors to a new looseleaf volume on VAT, entitled Value Added Tax: Commentary & Analysis. It is edited by Paul Lasok, QC with a foreword by Lord Walker of Gestingthorpe. The authors are mainly members of the tax bar.  The book covers the whole field of VAT and draws together EU and national legislation and case-law.  Mr Simpson has written the chapter on Accounting for VAT.  The volume is published by Sweet & Maxwell.
