Terra Firma Chambers are delighted to announce our annual Autumn Seminar ‘Tour’ will take place in November: Inverness on the 5th, Aberdeen on the 6th, Glasgow on the 15th and Perth on the 22nd. The events are part of Terra Firma’s ongoing commitment to strengthening links with law firms and direct access organisations throughout Scotland.
This year’s theme is ‘Land Law: Putting the Terra in Terra Firma’, with the following topics and speakers:

- Scottish Law Commission Review: Title Conditions and Leases | Ewen Brown, Advocate
- Abandoned, Neglected and Detrimental Land: The Extension of the Community Right to Buy | Mark Lazarowicz, Advocate
- Compulsory Purchase: What’s in Store? | William Frain-Bell, Advocate
There is a modest charge of £35 per person for attendance these events and each has been accredited for 2.5 hours of CPD by the Faculty of Advocates. Registration will be from 3pm, with the talks starting at 3.15pm. There will be short break in the middle and the seminars will be followed by a drinks reception at 6pm.
