Steven Walker to attend the Asia Pacific Upsteam Oil/Gas Legal Conference in Singapore 13 & 14 July 2016
The UK North Sea upstream landscape has been a difficult arena to find sizeable commercial success in the past few years. However, against a backdrop of low oil prices and capital constrained markets there are many companies and now refocussing on Asia Pacific’s upstream to provide them with the growth opportunity they and their shareholders/stakeholders crave. Asian Governments and NOCs are quickly repositioning themselves within this new marketplace, ready to remarket their hydrocarbon potential and looking for new investment. PETRONAS, PTTEP, Pertamina, PNOC-EP, PVEP, PB, CNOOC and others are all looking for new partners. Business models are evolving and service costs have reduced dramatically and the region presents an interesting opportunity for energy industry professionals.
We are delighted Terra Firma is at the forefront of these new international opportunities.
