Steven Walker of Terra Firma Chambers is presenting a paper to the Arbitration in Scotland: Why and How? conference to be held on Wednesday 23rd March 2011 at the Glasgow Hilton. Presented by some of the leading practitioners in Scotland and Worldwide, the emphasis of this conference is on the provision of practical workshops to assist practitioners (both new and experienced) with advising with confidence at the contract drafting stage, the dispute stage, and the enforcement stage in a variety of different sectors and fields. The conference aims to provide the tools to enable practitioners to seize the exciting opportunities for new business arising out of the new Arbitration (Scotland) Act 2010 and the resurgence of interest in arbitration as a preferred method of dispute resolution.
