Terra Firma to Host Commercial Law Conference

Terra Firma Chambers is hosting a full day conference dedicated to Commercial Law. The conference will be chaired by
J. Gordon Reid QC and will feature a series of talks on a range of topics including an update on General Contract Law; Restitution and Overpaid Tax; Commercial and Fixed Interest Rate Contracts; Directors’ Conflicts of Interest; The Bribery Act; Caution for Expenses; Corporation Harassment Rights and International Arbitration.
The conference will be held on Monday 3rd September 2012, at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, High Street, Edinburgh and will be followed by a drinks reception. The conference has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing four and a half hours OF CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession. There will be a modest fee for attendance of £50 per delegate.
