Terra Firma Chambers is delighted to announce that Denis Edwards has become the latest addition to the stable having called to the Scottish Bar today.
Denis called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2002 where he is a member of Francis Taylor Building (FTB). He specialises in all areas of public law and EU law, including environmental law, public procurement, planning, agriculture, marine planning, social security, VAT, immigration, education, mental health, community care and discrimination law (especially disability discrimination). Prior to calling to the Bar of England & Wales, Denis was a lecturer in law at the University of Strathclyde (1990-94) and Assistant Professor of Law at the City University of Hong Kong (1995-2000). In addition, he has been a law lecturer at the Universities of Giessen and Frankfurt in Germany, a visiting professor of law at Tulane and held a human rights teaching fellowship at Columbia Law School in 2000-2001. Since 2009, Denis has practised from FTB, a leading public law, planning and EU law chambers in London.
